Welcome to Apple Valley Motel

Apple Valley Motel, nestled at 903 Wine Country Rd in Grandview, Washington, offers a modest yet sincere lodging experience reminiscent of a bygone era. With a 3.3 rating, this family-run motel stands as a quiet retreat for travelers seeking affordability and simplicity without sacrificing essential comforts.

The rooms exhibit a straightforward cleanliness; guests have noted freshly vacuumed spaces, stocked toiletries, and functional cable TV. While small details like stray hairs on the bed and in the shower suggest room for improvement, these minor flaws do little to overshadow the value offered, especially at a budget-friendly rate around $95 per night or $400 for a weeklong stay.

What truly sets Apple Valley Motel apart is its nostalgic character. It hints at a time when highways threaded through towns instead of skirting them—an authentic slice of Americana. The faded exterior and the silent, closed pool echo with memories of past generations, evoking a warm, if bittersweet, sense of place. This ambiance invites guests to pause and reflect, making it more than just a stopover.

Situated in a quiet area with minimal road noise, the motel benefits from its proximity to local restaurants, offering convenient dining options just a short walk away. The owners enhance the experience with their approachable, helpful demeanor, greeting guests with genuine hospitality that turns a simple stay into a comfortable and welcoming one.

While it may not boast modern luxury or a glossy facade, Apple Valley Motel excels as a practical choice for visitors drawn to sightseeing and recreation in the region. Its business-friendly amenities and peaceful locale make it well-suited for travelers seeking a straightforward place to rest, recharge, and enjoy the simpler things.

In essence, Apple Valley Motel is a humble gem for those who appreciate authenticity and value over extravagance. It invites guests to experience Grandview’s charm in a quiet, unpretentious setting filled with echoes of yesterday and the promise of a peaceful night’s rest.

The room a was fleshly vacuumed, soaps, tv, shower, pretty nice for the price paid $95 cash. Found some hairs on the bed and in the shower but no big deal. Very happy for the price the guy at the counter was chill and showed us the room before we got it. Pretty quiet area, a nice restaurant across the road too. Would recommend for someone who needs a quick cheap place to chill.

The rooms are clean, cable tv, a quick walk to a few restaurants and quiet except for a bit of road noise. Owners were kind and helpful, helping me get my stuff into my room and everything. $400 for a weeklong stay is a pretty good deal in my book.

This is just an old-fashioned little side of the road family motel. It brings back memories of life before mega freeways, when highways came through our towns instead of around them. Yes, it's small, yes, it's cute, yes, it could look better on the outside and that old, long ago closed pool is just sad. Standing near the pool you can still hear the happy shreaks of kids from long ago playing. But, it's clean inside and the people are quite friendly. At under $60 for two people, just try it.
